Makgoro Lodge is an 1800 hectare privately owned game farm situated in the North West province, between the towns of Vryburg and Mahikeng.

The self-catering lodge have a state of the art kitchen, dining, barbecue, and bar facilities. A swimming pool, surrounded by lush rolling lawn, overlooks an extensive natural dam. The lodge has four private bedrooms and sleeps a total of 10 guests.

The lodge is fully serviced and has on-site staff to assist with all cleaning. Meals can be prepared on request at an additional cost. 

The lodge is rented as a complete unit to ensure your privacy and our undivided and personal service.

Room configuration:

  • Main Lodge (sleep 4)
    • Bedroom with two three quarter beds (en-suite)
    • Bedroom with two three quarter beds
  • Secondary Chalet (sleep 6)
    • 2 Bedrooms with two three quarter beds & sleeper couch (en-suite)

Rates:

Lodge sleep max 10

    • Current rates R1000 pppd with min of R2000 per day & weekends min of R4000 per day.
  • Kids under 12 - R600 pppd

Breakfast:

Create your breakfast – we will stock the kitchen with yoghurt, fruit juice, muesli, bacon, sausage, eggs & bread, you prepare in your own time. @ R145 pp ( & -50% Children) for all guests staying over.   Breakfast orders need to be confirmed at least 48 hours before arriving.

  • Boma Braai #1: We will supply you our best Kalahari Steaks & wood for the fire (you supply  your own choice of sides) ready for you to enjoy your braai in our boma @ R120 pp  *see special offer*
  • Boma Braai #2: We will supply you our best Kalahari Steaks & wood for the fire and have a paptert, salad and garlic bread ready for you to braai in our boma @ R240 pp.

  • This offer is limited to stays of at least 2 days
  • Orders need to be confirmed at least 48 hours before arriving.
  • * Boma Braai #1 are Included for FREE on the first day of arriving at the lodge, upgrade to Boma Braai #2 for R120 pp. (2 Children share one meal) 

Terms & Conditions

  • Bookings will only be confirmed and rooms reserved upon receiving a 60% deposit.
  • Accommodation guests may cancel without penalty 15 days or more prior to arrival.
